General Admissions

What supplies does my child need for the school year?

Each level has a unique school supply list. A general checklist is available on our Things to Prepare page. Teachers may provide additional requirements at the start of classes.

Where can I get my child’s school uniform?

Uniforms are available for purchase at the SMA school store. More details can be found in the Uniform Policy section.

When is the deadline for submitting enrollment documents?

What documents are required for enrollment?

Required documents vary by grade level:

Preschool: 2×2 ID picture, PSA Birth Certificate, Report Card (Kindergarten only).

Elementary and Junior High School: 2×2 ID picture, PSA Birth Certificate, Form 138 (Report Card), Teacher/Guidance Evaluation Form, and Form 137 (if available).

Programs and Placement

What programs does SMA offer?

Enrollment typically starts in March and ends in June. Exact dates are announced each year. Please visit the Enrollment Schedule page for the latest updates.

1. Regular Program: Designed for the general student population, this program follows the DepEd K-12 curriculum. It includes core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and Languages, as well as co-curricular activities.

2. Modified Program: Geared toward students with mild to moderate learning challenges, this program provides accommodations like extended testing time, reduced writing tasks, and behavior management techniques to support learning.

3. Individualized Education Program (IEP): Tailored for children with specific needs, such as Autism or Global Developmental Delay (GDD). The IEP is customized based on assessment results and focuses on social-communication skills, psychomotor skills, and functional academics.

How does SMA determine educational placement?

What subjects are included in the Regular Program?

Subjects include:

Languages: Mother Tongue (Grades 1-3), English, Filipino
Content: Araling Panlipunan, Mathematics, Science, Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao
Skills: Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH), and Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE).

What is the Authentic Learning Program at SMA?

Authentic Learning at SMA allows students to explore, immerse, and connect classroom lessons to real-world experiences. Activities include:

– Mini-field trips to community places like parks, supermarkets, museums, and government offices.

– Guest seminars and workshops conducted by local and international resource speakers.
